WSFG PhotosThe morning after our ten-year reunion (a lovely evening, by the way) my parents finally browbeat me into cleaning out the boxes I'd left in their garage years earlier, including the boxes of stuff they packed up out of my room just after I left for college. And, of course, I found a weird assortment of photos which I could have taken to the reunion, but didn't...including an entire roll from my 8th birthday party featuring a number of young ladies who are, shall we say, noticeably more dignified these days <GRIN>. Forgive me if I've misspelled (or, for that matter, completely forgotten) your name...it's been a long time, ladies, and I'm happy to make corrections. There are more, stashed in various places both here and in Oregon, and when we get a new scanner I'll toss 'em up. But, for now, in roughly chronological order: ![]() My 8th birthday party, mid-November 1984. Clockwise from lower left: Liz Seitz, someone whose name I've forgotten, me, Lindsey Benter, Stacy Kemp, Candace and Megan (sorry, forgot their last names) and...someone else whose name I've forgotten. ![]() 7th grade trip to Anacapa Island. This would be maybe spring of 1989? From left, Melissa Woo (for some reason, I have more pictures with Melissa Woo and Stacey Kemp in them in this batch than anyone else, which confuses me, but oh well), Rosemary Evans, Molly Cobleigh, Tracey Lindsey, and what I think is the back of Jenny Mock's head. ![]() My 8th grade class photo, ca. 1990. I miss these earrings. ![]() 8th grade graduation. From left, Dan Bowen (by the door), me, Kim Whose Surname I've Forgotten, someone who I think might be Karen Brereton, and Lyssa Axeen. I miss these earrings, too. And I can't believe I wore white pantyhose. ![]() Getting ready to run my mouth at some assembly or other. Newman's also in line with me (there's a shock) and the Class of 93 is visible in the junior bleachers in the background, making me think this was taken sometime sophomore year (given the frequency with which I ran my mouth in front of a microphone that year, I'm afraid I can't date it any better than that <GRIN>). This is from a roll of B&W shots of various people and events...and given that I appear in this one, I can't have shot the whole roll...hunh. It's a mystery. ![]() Mandy Boesche, probably sometime in 1992. ![]() Faculty, ca. 1992. No idea what the hell they were doing. Obviously something very involving. Guy Hallman is sitting down and that may be Betsey Hanger next to him. ![]() Student Union, ca. 1992. From left: Jane Chang, AmyBeth Sirk, Allison Lomas. ![]() Charmaine Houseman, ca. 1992. ![]() Jim Moran, in foreground, Virginia Macneil, and Stacy Kemp, ca. 1992. ![]() I was a dancing knight...no, really. I swear. I'm the leftmost dancing knight in the back row. Melissa Woo is right of me, Lindsey Benter is in the center front row, Kaoru Matsuda is right of her, and I'm afraid I don't remember who any of the other knights are. Stacey Tappan is in the nice green Italian renaissance dress (front row of ladies, farthest right, and since she was the lead it's only fair she gets the best dress...), and I think that's Laura Brereton farthest left in that row of ladies. Liz Seitz is directly above Stacey, and I think that's Anne Geis in the back row right of Stacey, but it's hard to tell. Probably 1991. ![]() Lisa Jann, conspicuously out of focus (but look at all that hair!) This must be 1991. Not sure who that is in the background. ![]() Because my husband would never believe me, otherwise. From the 1992 yearbook. Obviously not everyone showed up on photo day (but, look, it was a counterculture organization. Counterculture organizations <ahem> don't show up on photo day. This is good policy when you're prepping for the revolution, but a little hard on posterity. Speaking of posterity, twelve years later, I still think that getting this in the Westridge yearbook is funny as hell.)
